Dr. Rabia Shahbaz is an educator, a coach, and an academic leader. She has completed her tenure as a high school mathematics teacher and math department head in public education. She now teaches mathematics to undergraduate students. Dr. Shahbaz created Academic Center for Excellence with a vision to provide an educational hub to students for all their academic needs.
Mr. Wallace Tardy, Ed.S.
Mr. Wallace Tardy, a ninth grade English teacher, is a part of the International Business Academy at Meadowcreek High School, currently in his second year at Meadowcreek. Mr. Tardy’s hometown is Jackson, Mississippi, and he stayed true to his roots by graduating from the University of Southern Mississippi and obtaining his Masters of Arts in Teaching. Drawing on inspiration from his 8th grade teachers, Mr. Nelson and Ms. Thomas, Mr. Tardy strives to change the lives of his own students every day by encouraging them to try their best and never giving up on their aspirations.
Mehnaz Ahmed, MAT, MBA
Mrs Ahmed is a K-8 Reading interventionist with a Dyslexia endorsement and expertise in executive functioning helping students master structured literacy, bridge reading gaps, organize academic work, initiate tasks, and meet writing standards through targeted, multisensory instruction and personalized support plans.
She has a Master’s of Art in Teaching from Kennesaw State University and is a special education teacher. Her expertise is in English Language & Arts (ELA), reading, writing and executive functioning skills including work organization, time management and task initiation.
Juan Garcia
Juan Garcia is a junior at the Gwinnett School of Mathematics Science and Technology. I specialize in mathematics from elementary school to AP Calculus as well as physics, chemistry, and biology. I look forward to helping you grow and learn.
